The Reserves face St Helens tonight up at Hilltop.
There are some notable absences from the squad - namely Charles (who must be in the 17 for tomorrow IMO due to his omission from the Reserves) and Jack Rampton. There was a lot of chat about him last week, with questions from Dan Tomlinson, and Carty saying he needed to play so he can get used to the game, and now he is out of the squad. Don't know if it is a knock, or other reasons

No wonder players are continually loaned out.the reserve structure is a disgrace.in years gone by in the so called bad old days of part time rugby.every club had an A team that played every weekend.at least 30 games a season.any club that couldnt raise a side were heavily find contrast that to todays joke system.11 games all summer.we play all other sl sides except cats.bulls instead.we play all the sides once.half at home and half away.ludicrous system.the rl needs to put more money towards reserve grade and less on pointless gimmicks like vegas

Big win for the 16s away at Saints, alot of them under 15's too. Heard very good things about that intake. Quite a few ex players kids too.

Feka's lad is the best player I've seen at that level for a long time, hopefully we can get him signed up. He is the stand out name, but I like Kingsley Sharp in the halves (even though hes a big Rovers fan), the Last twins are highly thought of too |

There have been a few games played like that. I don't mind the 2 in the tackle rule, definitely prevent the rolling maul style gang tackles to get players in touch! |
