if bratfud get the nod, that's one away fixture i will boycott next season! those that moan catalan and toulouse dont bring any away fans, so what! how many huddersfield fans were at the mkm on saturday...50? 60? if your business model is based on the number of away fans then you are in trouble.
glad to see the back of loop fixtures, that is the only positive! cant see many sl clubs giving up their share of sky money so maybe its back yourself or dont bother coming up! feel for Toulouse if they get shafted

I can't help feel like the current player pool even with 10 quota places will lower standards. The RFL has repeatedly failed to drive the reserves competition which I think should be mandatory for all Super League clubs. It's the top tier in our sport yet it doesn't have a reserves competition?

Potentially a good opportunity to send the more promising young players on loan if clubs are struggling to fill squads.

A complete shambles as you'd expect. 14 teams is the way to go but only if the money and quality is there, which it isn't and next season is way too soon. Given york have thrown a stack of cash at 35 year old vaughan, it shows you how limited player options are
wood and hetherington pulling the strings

God we dont want toulouse in.ideally we need to dump catalan.french clubs should be playing in a french league.french rl fans are nit interested in uk super league.thats why none of them ever come over to watch catalan.time to dump the parasites The world is a smaller place more cosmopolitan. Catalans have brought a new dimension to RL. The experience of going there is rich. Yes it’s a shame their fans don’t come to away games in numbers. Maybe with Toulouse its a start of a process of creating a thriving French league- don’t know. But we have to keep pushing the boundaries from the M62 corridor. Even these clubs struggle so why not search for another motorway. . I feel that we can’t continue as we are else we will die as a sport and that would be unthinkable. Would like to know why FC voted against!

It's the top tier in our sport yet it doesn't have a reserves competition? I feel the opposite. At Hull the imports have generally driven standards. It’s not the concept but the how it’s done. FC have tried to acquire the ‘right’ typeof player who want to help the kids/ culture etc , not those who want a last salary. Sezer and Knight spring to mind. I’m sure other clubs will want the same

I see Rimmer is back at Huddersfield. Another useless one who stole a wage. Its as if degsy's got the old gang back together.

It's lucky they have voted against a 2nd french team on the basis of no away fans then looking likely to bring in the powerhouses that are york and london with their huge away followings

I think it's been proved that most of the SL teams lowest attendance wasn't against Catalans .

Having supposedly signed Paul Vaughan and Josh Griffin for next season you would assume York will be in SL? 1000000% They'll be in SL and i for one am fully behind it! Our nearest away day next to rovers and they have the set up now to become a mainstay in the Top tier so fingers crossed they make a splash and really kick on next year, also worth mentioning given where they are located that it would be a likely destination for some of the FC & KR Players that are either on the fringe of first team or ones who aren't being offered new deals..... In the next few years you could see the Likes of Fash, Chamberlain, Aydin Salabio, Kirby, Richardson, Kershaw, Fishwick, Ruan etc running out at the LNER

The issue isn't the number of away supporters at games, it's the number of home fans. Super League clubs should be getting 8,000 at the very least. Ideally 10,000.

If your business model is failing due to Catalan fans not turning up to your ground once a season then you need to reassess your business model. Absolutely pathetic what some clubs/owners etc are doing.
